SMILE!

Nothing else seems important when this little girls smiles! Every time I kiss her nose and say hi she busts out a huge smile and starts cooing! Being a mom is so much fun!

Pretty in Pink

I find it funny that the purpose of this post was to brag about my little girl... and the picture that Jon took this morning is this screaming one. lol.... So anyway, guess how long Kate slept last night. Do you give up? Ok I'll tell you. 6 hours! That's right... I said 6! I couldn't believe my eyes when I looked at my phone this morning. I really hope that becomes normal! Also, check out Kate's super cute dress. My grandma got this for Kate, and I just love love love it! Its a tiny bit too big, but still so cute!

Ok two more pictures because they are cute. Kate is getting more and more alert. Here she is just chillin in her pjs with daddy. This first picture is a Jon face. It is funny how often she makes faces identical to him! She is just so pretty! I'm really starting to have lots of fun!

Randoms

So I don't really know what to title this post, or what theme there is to these pictures....I just wanted to share them with everyone! Mostly I am avoiding all the mass unpacking that lurks all around my apartment. This one is just a cute one of the two of us hanging out. she is getting so much more alert! I love it!

This picture shows just how long and curly her hair is when it is wet. When it is dry it is just wild! It makes me excited to see what it does when it is longer. And dont mind her giving you the finger in this shot... she doesnt know any better!

I just love her face in this picture! this is at the airport getting ready to head to TX.

And this one cause I love her little baby gap outfit for the plane! She is just too cute...everything looks good on her! And its crazy how much she has grown in just a month. Her newborn clothes are getting tight!

And this is my baby in her first snow! She slept the whole time we were outside... crazy girl! Even a wind chill of -4 can't wake her if she doesn't want to. I figured that I needed to document that she had seen snow since I'm told TX doesn't get much.
So there are just a few fun pics. I should go be productive now... these boxes aren't going to unpack themselves!

My new dew

So most of my life my hair has been long. But starting in HS, I grew my hair out and donated it to Locks of Love, who make wigs for cancer patients. I liked it so much, I've continued to grow my hair/donate it ever since. So my hair had been growing out....as shown above. I decided that while I was home and has a baby sitter, I wanted to chop off my hair! I found that Pantene has a similar program that only needs 8 inches of hair for their wigs, so I went for it!

Here is the end result. My hair is shorter than it has been for years! I think I love it... but it (like almost everything in my life right now) is still sinking in. I guess I look more like a mom now!
