Jane is 2!

Jane made it! The terrible 2's are upon us! So far they have not been terrible. Jane is still not really talking--but she certainly thinks shes a big girl despite that. I tried out a new cupcake recipe, cookie dough. It was pretty tasty--even if my decorating didn't look to great! Jane certainly liked them! At 2 Jane explores everything with the confidence of a much older girl, but at the same time seems to be a safety first kid. She is the type who thinks before she acts, she has some kind of unspoken wisdom. It's fun to watch her wheels turning! We all love our Jane!

We were lucky enough to have Lorainne and Brian's family there and Scott and Susan, and Kenneth and Heather.

Abby's Preschool Graduation

Abby did it! She graduated preschool! She absolutely adored her classmates and teachers Mrs Carrol and Mrs Teresa. For graduation, Grandma Jensen made an all night drive so she could be there in time for the ceremony! Everyone at our house was over the moon excited for her to join us! Abby was adorable in her graduation get up! And she preformed all the songs with her regular Abigail flair.

After the ceremony we were able to take some pictures. Jane wouldn't stop hugging Abby! It was adorable.

May Days

May has come and gone. Jon has pretty much worked his tail all the way off. He sits on the couch and works right up until bedtime almost every night. Soccer and school finished up. I have photo proof that Abby can stand in a line! And Kate and Jane having lots of fun on the sidelines.

Jane is enjoying her spray bottle for fixing her hair.
All of us snuggled onto the couch--Chance is next to Jon even though you cant see him.
Abby's school had a Mother's Day breakfast. It was fun hanging out with my girl.
Jon taught the girls how to eat cherries and avoid the pit. They were huge fans. Proof that he is their father! I hate cherries!
And this is what it looks like when Dad orders the ice cream cones t the restaurant. They were a sticky mess when they were done!

Columbia Zoo

We got season passes to the Zoo this year- and I for see several outings! The girls loved it! We let them plan which animal we will see next and they loved it! Jane would point and ooh and ahh at every animal.

The girls first pony ride! Little cowgirls.

Pinewood Derby

Jon was like a kid again when the announced the pinewood derby was open to all who wanted to participate. So he had each girl help design their own car, and he made his own. They all did really well too--except Jane's Olaf car. Kate got 2nd place in her category, and Abby was in the top 5. Jon was first place in his category too! The Branch President even mentioned his derby skills in his talk to next day at church.

Easter 2017 in Ohio

We road tripped to Ohio for Easter! All 3 girls were good in the car!

We are so lucky to have Grandma and Grandpa Jensen! My girls adore every minute with them! We went to Granny's house for Easter round one! We went shopping and got a little spoiled. Then had an egg hunt at Granny's and opened our baskets. The girls had a blast!

Playing the classic hand stacking game waiting for dinner. We decided not to stress about cooking dinner--and went to Olive Garden instead!
Grandma reading bedtime stories. Our kids want nothing to do with Mom and Dad when Grandma is near! She reads them way more stories anyway!
Then we had Easter round 2, Adam's Branch Easter Egg hunt. Cute kid games and an egg hunt. As always the girls loved it!
