Beautiful girls

Lots of days I look at my beautiful girls and wonder how in the world they came from me! These girls are SO beautiful! Just check out Kate's amazing hair dew. I just love my girl's hair too! I am afraid of what my life will be like when these girls can date! Our house will be busy!

Put-put

Jon came home early one Wednesday and had the great idea that we go play put-put golf. It was Kates first time (She dressed herself can you tell?) She was actually pretty good! I figure we can teach her to be a pro and win the masters some day. It was great fun to play as a family. And when we were done playing, Kate won a free game when she returned her game ball! Way to pull your weight little girl!

Abby's first shopping trip without her car seat

Pretty Princesses

Dallin and Ashlyn came over while Heather took Jade to a school thing. OF COURSE we played dress up. The best part is watching Dallin walking around like a total boy in high heels! We just love playing with our cousins!

Bluebonnets

Here in Texas these beautiful flowers come out in the spring. It is apparently a 'must' to get your kids picture taken in them. So I called up one of my awesome friends down here and she helped me take a few shots of the girls. Neither of them was being very cooperative, so we only got a few!

This last picture just shows how done the girls were after only a few minutes of a photo shoot. I tried giving Abby the necklace because they sometimes make her happy...but not that day! And Kate was just to hyper to sit still and worry about posing for pictures!

Swingers

Today the weather is B-E-A-utiful! We went outside with our friends Mason and Dallin. Miss Kate was sporting her kitchen apron and no pants...which fits her sassy personality. And I had to take pictures to document Abby's first time swinging. She was a huge fan as you can see.

Her smiles were so cute. And at one point Heather  gave Abs her sunglasses and she just threw up her hand like "hey ya'll what's goin on"

And when Abby got tired she just tipped her head over and hung out. Such a cutie.
And for the record, Kate helped me type some of the words for both of these posts!

About a Dog

Chance is our trusty sidekick. This dog is seriously the best dog on the planet. He is super hyper, but the sweetest dog ever. One of his few flaws is that he sheds when winter turns to spring. I decided to splurge this year and get him groomed to help reduce the shedding (mostly because Abs spends so much time on the floor right now). So for the first time ever I paid someone to give this guy a bath. He loved it! You could tell he loved all the special attention. Here he is on the way home sitting in Kate's car seat. He was acting like he owned the place. I have also decided that our car may be getting too small. My crew is getting pretty cramped in the backseat:
And I need to give a shout out to my sister in law Heather. We have a great thing going here! We trade off kids sometimes so we can run errands, and it is a lifesaver! I dont know how I would have gotten Chance groomed while keeping track of my kids! And shopping without Kate in tow is a small miracle. I am really blessed to have such great sister in laws!

Easter 2013

Easter this year was so fun! Kate was way into the whole thing. I tried to make sure she knew that the reason the Eater Bunny was going to come was because Jesus was resurrected, but other than repeating the word I'm not sure it truly sank in. At least I tried right! Next year she will understand even better. I was so excited that I had all the gifts purchased and hiding in my closet the first week of March! It was fun to see Kate's excitement on Easter morning. She told people over and over that the Easter Bunny came to her house. But sadly I couldn't find my camera on Easter! Talk about a mommy failure! So cell phone pictures is all I got.

Here are my lovely girls ready for church. I may be biased, but I think they are just perfect! Such pretty girls!

Then for Easter dinner we had the Walter's over for dinner. Heather and I split up the cooking and made it easier. Having us together was fun. Scott and Susan didn't make it since they just got home from the hospital with Aspen, but Susan's parents came and brought Brooke. We are so blessed to be able to have time with family! And I'm so grateful for the reason we celebrate the Easter season. I love my Savior and all He has done for me!
