Thanksgiving 2019

We went to Ohio for Thanksgiving. We spent some time at the church playing, and Kate is the baby whisperer. Nate and Amy hosted us for Thanksgiving dinner. Amy's step mom made a hilarious cheese ball, and we had a great time hanging out with family and eating yummy food.
Grandma requested a picture with all her great grandchildren. Pretty crazy that she has this many girls! And just one Carter.

We had a quick early birthday for Kate. She loved the attention. Crazy that I have a 10 year old!

When we got home 2 kids got sick. Thankfully Walmart grocery pick up saved the day!

Wrapping up the Decade

Emily is my constant  companion. And sometimes she tries to copy me, it can get scary.

For some reason our kids are obsessed with band aids. I had a real cut that needed a band aid, and opened the first aid kit to find it overflowing with rappers. And one tiny band aid only big enough for a mosquito bite!

Since we were about to enter a new decade, I decided to do a side by side comparison of myself to see how much I've changed. Sadly, I've grown lots, just not in height! But this past decade I started out pregnant and ended it as a mom of 4. This decade was full of babies! Hopefully next decade I'll be smaller and healthier.

Abby has now decided that his stuffed dog is one of her favorites. She named him wiener. I have had more fun than I should laughing at her saying things about her wiener, like "look at my wiener!", or "you can play with my wiener!"

And Emily is loving being the center of attention with 2 dogs. She laughs super hard when they both follow her around. I think she can feel the power.

Builtmore and Downton

My favorite Meghan flew to see me, and the Downton Abbey exhibit at the Builtmore Estate! It was a magical weekend for us! Hanging out, catching up, laughing, and fan-girling over our favorite show! The Estate is beautiful as always, and fun to explore.

But the sets they brought from the show!! And the Costumes were so amazingly fun! We were maybe some of the most obviously excited people there! Totally geeks. But we adored it.

The closest I'll ever get to Maggie Smith, and my favorite outfit of Sybil. The exhibit was almost as good as seeing my friend.

Day to day

Emily is part cat. photo proof. But her personality matches. She will like you if she wants to.

I finally broke down and accepted a new kindle the kids got me for my birthday, and made sure it was encased in sparkly purple!

More hair the girls really liked.
Chance, in his older years is so well behaved in pubic. He's a million times easier than Emily at this stage! At the vet, she looks like the  animal!
What happens when you sneeze after applying mascara.

Our girls at their Primary Program. They all did a great job singing and saying their part. (Jane didn't speak this year cause our Primary is huge!) I just love these girls and their love of the Gospel. They truly love learning about Jesus.
Emily is so temperamental! She goes from screaming and throwing a fit to cute and happy. Of course eating M&M's makes me happy too, so that could be part of the her smile.
