This year I made a shark banner to help us celebrate! I told the girls that if they took some notes about shark facts they learned and made a poster containing that information I would let them pick out a toy at the 5and below store. They took the task very seriously. I love that my kids are as captivated as me watching the shark shows. Curled up on the couch with these girls, learning about our oceans is one of my happy places.
We had a random turtle visitor in our yard during shark week! I was proud the girls actually held him!
Jane had a great idea to sit in her beach chair while watching Shark Week! Taking it to a whole new level! Then the finished shark posters. Such hard working girls!

Just July
Emily taking self discipline into her own hands. Abby and Jane with their favorite hats on. Jane's doesn't stay down on her head because her curls bounce it right off!
Life with a toddler.
Chance is one loved dog!
These two went with Dad to a meeting at church dressed like this. Too much fun! And Emily drew this mustache on herself! She was trying to eat the marker, but it still turned out priceless.
And Kate's Father's Day poster for Jon

4th of July
For the 4th we went to the Peach Festival. Everyone told us we had to try Peach Iceream, and who are we to turn down ice cream!
There wasn't a ton of other things to do at the festival, but the kids enjoyed the bouncy house.
Then of course a firework show. The girls blew bubbles while we waited for it to get dark and they loved it. The loud noises were not fun for Jane, she calmly asked if she could sit in the car. She didn't cry--just didn't like it. Everyone else had a great time oooo-ing and ahhh-ing at the fireworks.
Then at home the next day we did a few tiny fireworks in the driveway. Kate got really brave and even lit a few on her own this year. Happy Birthday America!

Cuteness
Just some random things this month that just struck my heart as Oh So Cute! Jane's curls are still so fun! I hope she keeps curls her entire life! Chance, despite being an old man now, still is always ready to play. And Emily--my favorite dress on, eating 2 apples, because one wouldn't have been cute enough!
