Jane starts school too!

After a few weeks of Jane and Emily hanging out without the big girls, Jane got to start her 3K early intervention class.

Oh-- And she had a pretty epic head injury. She had lots of blood running that day, but no tears, just a funny concerned face.
At first Jane didn't know which way her backpack was supposed to go--but with some help she got it turned around! She loved  being able to go to school with her big sisters. Love seeing these girls learn and grow.

Emily at 5 months

She is so deliciously sweet!! Her tight baby curls give her such a similar look to her sisters. She has such a calm, easy going personality. We are so lucky to have her part of our group.

Making Emily try on one of my favorite old dresses. She looks SO cute in it!

Summer winding Down

Doing fuse beads with cousins several times this summer. The girls love those things!
Working hard on the house! Jon insisted that our bathroom counter have plenty of counter space so that my stuff will never get on his side....we are so far apart we cant reach each other while standing at the sink. And my stuff now may or may not take up most of the counter space.
And to document it-- I did help tile the house one day! I came home nasty...so we had to have a picture to prove it.
And the rest of summer we took it easy--relaxing and enjoying being a family!

Abigail's 6th Birthday Party

Abigail had 2 requests for her birthday, to have friends play with her at the park, and a sleepover. So it was one easy party for me to plan! Store bought cupcakes, friends invited, and boom! This 6 year old's birthday dreams came true. She loved it immensely. Abby really is such a fun loving happy girl. It doesn't take much at all to make her happy. We love our Abigail!

Then we had our cousins that are Abby's age over for a sleepover. They loved it so much. And Kate got these stuffed animals from Uncle Bruce and Matt for her surgery--she was sweet enough to share with the girls at the party. Eye Muscle Surgery

Kate had to have eye muscle surgery to help her eye be more in line. She was brave and did well, but poor girl--you couldn't help but feel her pain when you saw her poor eye afterward. The surgery recovery was quite painful, but it healed well and looks great now!

More Summer

Shark Week! I always love Shark Week, and I'm making it my mission to make my kids love it too. So we have started making fascinating facts posters. The girls get to decorate and write down all the cool things they learn about sharks while we watch. They love it.

Jon was busy all summer working on the house, and coming home looking like this most every time. He really worked amazingly hard for us. I love how his hard work literally surrounds us now in the new house. Such a great provider and father!

Poor Dallin had to go back into the hospital for a serious infection in his bone, so we got to have a sleep over with the young girls while Ashlyn was off at girls camp. These girls had lots of fun. We love family!

The girls both attended basketball camp together. It was all about ball handling and the girls had fun. Abby was awesome, wearing a skirt most every day to camp. Cracked me up.

Playing with Dad is always a favorite past time. He makes us laugh!

July happenings

Kate found a moment of her exhausted mom accidentally napping. I am so glad she got this picture for me. This is what motherhood looks like for me. I often feel overwhelmed, and consumed by the day to day chores and shortcomings, but I hope they remember me holding them, and doing what I can to be there for them.
Our house progressed lots. And the first time I drove by the new siding I got so scared I was going to have an orange and yellow house!

 Emily got cuter and cuter!

And I tired to make cleaning more fun, and invented mop dancing. Maybe not the more efficient clean, but the most fun.
Another perfectly sweet sleeping baby. And I picked the perfect paint colors for the house! I love love love my new house!

Sometimes a mom needs some candy to get through the day. Also this summer, pearler beads was a fun time! Lots of nap times let us create fun creations. And we listened to the first Harry Potter book.

Cousin Carter was born on July 12th! He was in a huge hurry to start chasing after his girl cousins, and came super early. But he started growing and was amazingly strong! We love our cousin!
