Kate's Baptism

My sweet Kate turned 8 and was baptized on Dec 23rd. It was a great meeting and lots of family was able to come support this amazing girl. I had a hard time keeping my emotions in control. We are all so proud of the girl she is growing into.

After the baptism was over our family stayed behind and had lunch together and played a few games like duck, duck, goose.

Kate, you are such a great daughter, and your Dad and I are so proud of you for your righteous desires. Your Heavenly Father is proud of you too for how hard to strive to keep His commandments.

1. What is your favorite color? I have lots but my most favorite is pink.

 2. What is your favorite toy? Its kinda hard for me, umm...my LOL doll and American girl doll

December Doings

 Kate, Abby and Jane got to open cute little ornaments for the tiny ornament tree from Granny.  Probably one of my favorite Christmas traditions.

 And Kate had a Christmas program at school. She had a speaking part and she was oh so proud of. She delivered her line flawlessly and clearly. And she sang each song with dedication!

 And then Kate turned 8! How is it so? I don't know but I think I like it! She wanted an animal themed party, so we did a pet adoption party. We each got to pick out our pet and name it and decorate their collar and house. I think the girls really liked it!

 Winter dance showcase. Abby being a beautiful dancer. She loves it.

 Kate has such strong focus when doing anything, but it was especially cute to watch during dance class.

Thanksgiving 2018

 We made a weekend trip to Ohio for Thanksgiving. It was a beautifully relaxing visit (once we got there--traffic on the way there was awful!). Everyone enjoyed hanging out with our Ohio family. We played, shopped, ate, and explored Uncle Zach's new house and land.

Gender Reveal

 At our house we celebrate with cake!

The girls had all said they wanted a brother, but when we told them it was a girl they were very excited and had lots of name requests. It will always be a girl party at our house!

Normal days of November

 November was just some normal life around here. I did more laundry than is probably healthy, and Kate, Abby and Jane were sweet sisters. Jane has started taking coloring seriously and uses her cheek to hold the pencil (adorable) And Jane wore one of my old dresses to church

Halloween 2017

 So Jon and I were really busy at our ward trunk or treat party and didn't get any pictures of our kids! But they had a blast. And were the cutest cats there! We also went trick or treating around the neighborhood. The girls love the fun of the holiday!
