Thanksgiving 2018

 We made a weekend trip to Ohio for Thanksgiving. It was a beautifully relaxing visit (once we got there--traffic on the way there was awful!). Everyone enjoyed hanging out with our Ohio family. We played, shopped, ate, and explored Uncle Zach's new house and land.

Gender Reveal

The girls had all said they wanted a brother, but when we told them it was a girl they were very excited and had lots of name requests. It will always be a girl party at our house!

Normal days of November

 November was just some normal life around here. I did more laundry than is probably healthy, and Kate, Abby and Jane were sweet sisters. Jane has started taking coloring seriously and uses her cheek to hold the pencil (adorable) And Jane wore one of my old dresses to church

Halloween 2017

 So Jon and I were really busy at our ward trunk or treat party and didn't get any pictures of our kids! But they had a blast. And were the cutest cats there! We also went trick or treating around the neighborhood. The girls love the fun of the holiday!

September Happenings

 Grandma Jensen came down for a quick visit and we got to have a Jane only trip to the Zoo. She loved the attention. But she wasn't a huge fan of the Merry Go Round.

 Jane went to an eye doctor to get her eye turning in. So now we have 2 eye patch girls in our house.

 Jane loves saying the word apple, and discovered she loved eating it too.

Jane decided that using a spoon wasn't quick enough for eating her dinner! Crazy little animal. 

Dance Class!

These two pretty ballerinas started dance class this year. They both love it! Every girl's dream.

School Time!

 Kate started 2nd Grade this year. I can't wait to see her rock the school. She has such a passion for learning. I love watching her succeed. Abby is starting Kindergarten. She is so excited and full of energy. She loves life and will love all the fun and new experiences.

The two girls walk home together after school. The first day they were adorably sweet holding hands. And then this is a candid shot of what homework time can look like at our place. So funny. I love these girls and watching them learn and grow.

TOTAL ECLIPSE

 Our house was right in the path of the total Eclipse. It was pretty awesome to see! It got dark enough that the street lights came on. So strange! We live in a beautiful world.

11 Years as the Walter Family

 Jon and I were pretty mellow for our anniversary this year. Dinner and movie, but still nice to just be together. And right around our big day we took the kids to a movie all together. We were shocked that all 3 actually watched the entire movie! Who knew that after 11 years we would be back in SC and have 3 crazy girls. We aren't perfect, but I wouldn't want to run the crazy race of life with anyone else!

Abby's Birthday Party

 Sadly the morning of Abby's party I was not doing well. Jon stepped up and took most of the party decor in hand! His version of Peppa Pig's house was a little different than the original. Abby loved it though. She excitedly said "Dad! You built me Peppa's house!"

 All the credit for the pinata and cake goes to me. Poor, sad Peppa's. But the idea to hang the pinata from the tree with an electric cord is all Jon. Makes it look more like a Halloween decoration, but the kids loved it! And I am definitely not a cake decorator.
