Kate's 6th Birthday

Kate requested a Monster High birthday party. The newest movie they came out with is Boo York Boo York. Totally fitting since we are moving our family to the city! (ok so Jon is working there and we are going to live in Jersey.) We had a song and dance party with disco light, eco microphones, makeup, and we wrapped like mummies. Kate had a great time! It is always fun to throw birthday parties for our kids and see them have a great time!

NASA Houston

Over Thanksgiving weekend we decided to take the girls to NASA before we leave Texas. It was fun, but geared toward older kids. Our girls still had a great time!

The highlight for sure was getting to touch a real moon rock. My girls like to collect rocks, so this really was awesome for them. All of us got to touch it-- even Jane!

Kate Lately

Kate is rocking school! She is on the fast track to reading. She is my big helper. Since Jon has been out of town the last month or so, she keeps telling me that since she is helping so much it is like having 2 adults and 2 kids. She is creative and fun. She truly loves to help others. Also, this picture of the sky was for her, she said it is her favorite clouds.

And because I don't know where else to put it, these last two pictures are very important to me. First, my amazing friends the Ruggles. The last few weeks would not have been possible without their help! These are truly friends that have become family to us! Then last we have a picture of Jane playing her first game with Dad! The girls were so excited for her every time it was her turn.

Abby

Abby's turn! This little lady will fabulously march to the beat of her own drum. She is tough and strong, but relishes the finer things in life. I secretly fear her teenage years!

All about Jane

At 5 months old Jane seems to be getting bigger and stronger by the day! This is my favorite stage for babies, they are smiley, and mildly interactive, but can't go anywhere yet and make a mess! Jane is such a calm baby. She is just like a little lady should be. Miss Jane is living up to her nickname! Even her laugh is reserved and poised. And she rarely cries. Composed. Polished. Sweet.

This last picture just cracked me up, she fell asleep on her hand and woke up with a perfect imprint on her chest that stayed for a long time!

Sleeping Beauties

One of the hardest things about this stage of life is having to wake up my youngest 2 to drive my oldest to and from school. I have a firm belief that you never wake a sleeping baby! and I just love catching the rare moments of Abby sleeping.
